


Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ameer Ajwad met with the Mr. Osama Abdulathif, CEO of Al Bait Guests, the service provider of 3500 Sri Lankan Hajj pilgrims this year and held detailed discussions on the arrangements being made for the country’s pilgrims during the forthcoming Hajj season. The discussion was held at the Al Bait Guests headquarters in Mecca on 11.05.2025 together with the Al Bait Hajj operation team. Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Shibly, Third Secretary and Dr. Ashraf, coordinator of Hajj arrangements at the Sri Lanka Consulate General in Jeddah.Al Bait Guests (formerly known as the Establishment of South Asia) is one of the largest Hajj service providers that has been operating for over 40 years. They have been serving almost one third of all pilgrims.Sri Lankan groups of Hajj pilgrims began to arrive in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with the arrival of first group on 11th May 2025.
