The Embassy processes passports on behalf of the Department of Immigration & Emigration, Sri Lanka. Applications are forwarded to Colombo twice monthly. Processing is normally 3–4 months. Submission hours: Sun–Thu 09:00–15:00; collection hours: Sun–Thu 09:00–16:00.

COLLECTION
Applicants are notified by phone & official social media. Original receipt and current travel document required; released only to the applicant or a duly authorised representative.
Current overseas application: Use Form K-35A and sign its Client Undertaking Section. Annex III is the parent consent letter. Form O is used for alterations. Department passport guidance.
