Dispatch or Bury the Human Remains

Submission of Required Documents

The respective sponsor should submit the following documents immediately to the Embassy:

Required Documents

1. Medical Report with English translation
2. A police report with English translation (if required)
3. Copy of passport of the deceased
4. Copy of Iqama
5. Death certificate with English translation
6. Proof of final settlement of all dues
7. GOSI number of deceased (if available)
8. List of personal belongings (This must be sent along with the Human Remains, except cash and jewelry)
9. Cash & jewelry can be handed over to the Embassy (The receipt should be obtained at the time of handing over)
10. Death Registration fees: SAR 90 (In case the sponsor is residing outside of Riyadh, payment should be made to the Mission A/C, Embassy of Sri Lanka, Account. No 0030-181796-001 AL Jazira Bank, King Fahad Branch)

The Embassy shall issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the sponsor upon receiving the above documents, either to dispatch or bury the Human Remains.

After obtaining the NOC

Visit the area police and obtain 5 letters to submit to the following agencies:

1. To obtain Death Certificate (Department of Civil Affairs with death notification & passport)
2. To obtain exit for the passport (Jawasath)
3. To pay hospital charges: SAR 4000.00 (to the hospital)
4. To submit hospital (to release the human remains)
5. To arrange Cargo (Cargo Agent)
