DOCUMENTS (SUBMITTED BY THE SPONSOR)

• Medical report (English translation)
• Police report with translation (if required)
• Deceased's passport copy
• Iqama copy
• Death certificate with translation
• Proof of final settlement of dues
• GOSI number (if available)
• List of personal belongings (sent with the remains, except cash & jewellery)
• Cash/jewellery may be handed to the Embassy against receipt.

PROCESS

The Embassy issues a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to dispatch or bury the remains. After the NOC, the sponsor obtains 5 letters from the area police for: death certificate (Civil Affairs), passport exit (Jawazat), hospital charges, release of remains, and cargo arrangement.
