Emergency Passport (NMRP)

An Emergency Passport (None Machine Readable Passport – NMRP) is issued for:

1
Expired passport
2
Persons who have lost their passport but have already applied for a new one and have not yet received it
3
Sri Lankans who are repatriated from Saudi authorities
Required Documents
  • Completed Form K35
  • Personal request letter from applicant explaining the reason for the emergency passport
  • Copy of police complaint lodged at nearest police station or Immigration Dept (Jawasath) in KSA
  • Birth certificate with photocopies (if available)
  • Previous passport (if available)
  • Four colour photographs — white background, 4.5cm × 3.5cm, clear/fresh, ears visible, no spectacles or hair bands, no caps or badges, taken within last 3 months
  • As per new regulation: 5 dates required for prior approval from Immigration Dept
Fees:
Previous passport available: SAR 205
Previous passport lost: SAR 635
If original applied but not yet received: additional SAR 95
