Consular Division The Consular Division provides the services in implementation of the Consular Functions Act No. 4 of 1981 of Sri Lanka amended by Act, No. 18 of 2006 in order to look after the interests and welfare of Sri Lankans residing or employed abroad. Main Services

• Repatriation of Sri Lankans Stranded Overseas
• Repatriation of human remains
• Complaints from Sri Lankans for Compensation/ legal dues etc
