Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ameer Ajwad met with the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services of Saudi Arabia H.E. Eng. Saleh bin Nasser bin Alali Aljasser and had a fruitful discussions on maritime, ports and aviation cooperation between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia. Both sides explored ways and means to promote multilateral cooperation in international maritime domain and bilateral collaboration in aviation, ports and shipping including a bilateral agreement on mutual recognition of qualification certificates for Seafarers. The meeting was held on 15th October 2025 at the headquarters of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Riyadh.
