A death can be registered in the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Riyadh under Section 7 of the Consular Functions Act provided the following conditions are satisfied:

1. The deceased is a citizen of Sri Lanka

2. The death occurred in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Dammam,Hail,Qassim,Jawf, Arar and Jubail)

 

Required Documents (Death certificate)

1. Application

   • Within Three Month (Form S30)

   • After Three Month (Form S36)

2. Death certificate of the deceased issued by the competent authority of Saudi Arabia (with copy)

3. Passport of the deceased or if the deceased is a minor the passport of the parent in which the endorsement regarding the minor is made. (with copy)

4. Fees:

   For registration of death – SAR -85

   For issue of death certificate or each additional copy – SAR-85
