Press Release on Sri Lanka Trade Delegation to Riyadh,
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Sri Lanka Trade Delegation organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka and Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) visited Riyadh from 29th October to 01st November 2017. The objective of this trade delegation visit was to build a relationship and establish trade links with Saudi Arabia businessmen and companies.
The CCC was founded in 1839, is the oldest business Chamber in the Indian Ocean Island of Sri Lanka and among the oldest in the Asian region. The CCC is the strongest private sector body which represents all the business sectors and regions in Sri Lanka.
The trade delegation comprised representatives of leading business companies who are very active in export, import, and service sectors.
The delegation had met with the Council of Saudi Chambers, Riyadh Chamber, and the Saudi Fund for Development, The Saudi Export Program, SABIC and other important business organizations and leading entrepreneurs.
The Commercial Section of the Sri Lanka Embassy in Riyadh facilitated all the arrangements in Riyadh and committed to making this event a success for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
